The Greatest Action Movies List Not So Great Anymore

Marc Bernadin at EW.com wrote a supplement to Entertainment Weekly's List of the 25 Greatest Action Movies of All Time with the (pointless) addition of 25 titles, most unsuitable to admit ("Point Break," "Pitch Black," "Top Gun," "Kung Fu Hustle"), to the list. Visit EW.com for more. Meanwhile, The American Film Institute again rates "Citizen Kane" as the Best American Movie Ever, as in 1998, in the CBS special "AFI's 100 Years ... 100 Movies — 10th Anniversary Edition." For more, visit USA Today or scan the list. Purists shriek, as Peter Jackson's "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" (2001), a new addition to the list, places 50th — better than "Taxi Driver," "Jaws," "M*A*S*H," "Raiders of the Lost Ark" ... Eeeeeeeeeeek!
