The Bulletin: Sommers Enlists in 'G.I. Joe'

Stephen Sommers ("The Mummy," "Van Helsing") will direct "G.I. Joe," an adaptation of the comic strip, children's TV series and series of toys, reports IESB.net. Lorenzo Di Bonaventura will produce for Paramount Pictures.

Moore to Direct 'Airborne'
John Moore ("The Omen," "Flight of the Phoenix") will direct "Airborne," an explosive thriller aboard an aircraft carrier, reports Variety. Arnold Kopelson ("The Fugitive," "Platoon") will produce. Moore will rewrite Eric Tipton's script.
