The Bulletin: Aniston Boards 'Traveling'

Jennifer Aniston will star with Aaron Eckhart in "Traveling," in which a floral designer meets a charismatic grief counselor at a Seattle hotel, reports Variety. Brandon Camp directs. Mike Thompson and Camp wrote the script. Scott Stuber and Mary Parent will produce with Thompson.

McAdams, Mirren, Penn to Star in 'State of Play'
Rachel McAdams, Helen Mirren and Robin Wright Penn will join Brad Pitt, Edward Norton and Jason Bateman in "State of Play," an adaptation of Paul Abbott and David Yates' BBC miniseries, reports Variety. Norton will star as a congressman under suspicion in the murder of a mistress; Pitt, a political journalist in a breach of ethics; Mirren, as a steely newspaper editor; Penn, as the congressman's wife; and Bateman and McAdams, as reporters. Kevin Macdonald ("The Last King of Scotland") will direct for Universal. Matthew Michael Carnahan (November's "Lions for Lambs") wrote the script. Andrew Hauptman will produce with Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner. Abbott will executive produce. Production will start in November.
