"Watchmen" Sets a Dead Ringer for Dave Gibbons' Illustrations

On a New York City backlot built in Vancouver, B.C., Zack Snyder (“300”) is in production on “Watchmen” (March 6, 2009), an adaptation of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ deconstructive apocalyptic epic novel to star Billy Crudup, Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley, Malin Akerman, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Matthew Goode.
