Reilly to Star in 'Cirque du Freak'
John C. Reilly ("Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story") will star as a vampire with a teenage apprentice in "Cirque du Freak," an adaptation of Darren Shan's children's novel, reports Variety. Paul Weitz ("About a Boy," "American Dreamz") wrote the script and will direct at Universal Pictures. Weitz will produce with Lauren Shuler Donner. Production will start in February.

More Cast in 'Tetro'
Alden Ehrenreich and Maribel Verdu will star in Francis Ford Coppola's "Tetro," a saga about an artistic immigrant family in Argentina, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Matt Dillon will co-star, and Javier Bardem is in talks to join the cast. Coppola wrote the script, and plans to begin production in Buenos Aires in January.
