Marcus Nispel of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (2003) will direct an update of "Friday the 13th," reports ShockTillYouDrop.com. Damian Shannon and Mark Swift ("Freddy Vs. Jason") wrote the script. Michael Bay will produce.

Duvall Celebrates 'Christmases'
Robert Duvall will star with Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon in "Four Christmases" (Nov. 14, 2008), a comedy in which a couple struggles to visit all four parents of divorce on Christmas Day, reports Variety. Matt Allen and Caleb Wilson wrote the script. Gary Barber, Roger Birnbaum and Jonathan Glickman will produce with Vaughn and Witherspoon for New Line Cinema. Production will start in December.
