More Enlist in 'Thunder'
Owen Wilson and Nick Nolte will enlist in "Tropic Thunder" (July 11, 2008), a comedy about five actors haphazardly caught in the crossfire of a real war while on the location shoot of a bombastic war epic, reports Variety. Ben Stiller ("The Cable Guy") will direct, star and produce, with Stuart Cornfeld, for DreamWorks Pictures. Nolte and Wilson join Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Brandon Jackson, Steve Coogan, Danny McBride, Jay Baruchel, Matt Levin and Andrea De Oliveira in the ensemble. Stiller, Justin Theroux and Etan Cohen wrote the script. Production begins in July in Hawaii and Los Angeles.

Rorschach Cast in Snyder's 'Watchmen'
Jackie Earle Haley ("Little Children") will star as Rorschach in Zack Snyder's "Watchmen," an adaptation of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' deconstructive apocalyptic epic, reports SuperHeroHype.com. Snyder must've read The Scout. In the March 30 issue, a "'Watchmen'" Casting Call" splash had Haley as the favorite to star as Rorschach. (The Scout's "Watchmen" Picks: 1 out of 1, so far.)
