Mach 5 Rolls Out of Showroom
"Go, Speed Racer, Go!" The first exclusive photograph (above) of the Mach 5, in Larry and Andy Wachowski's "Speed Racer" (May 9, 2008), is an attachment of Scott Bowle's article at USA Today. "It was one of the coolest things I'd ever seen," Emile Hirsch, star of "Speed Racer," says via phone from Germany. "That's when I started thinking it would be great to be on TV. Helgeland to Rewrite 'Nottingham'
Brian Helgeland ("L.A. Confidential") will rewrite the revisionist "Nottingham," with Russell Crowe as a reputable Sheriff of Nottingham in pursuit of Robin Hood, the chief suspect in a series of murders, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Ridley Scott ("Gladiator") will direct and Brian Grazer will produce. Ethan Rieff and Cyrus Voris (Showtime"s "Sleeper Cell") wrote the script.

Apatow, Ramis Together for 'Year'
Jack Black will star in "Year One," a comedy with plot details yet unknown, reports Variety. Harold Ramis ("The Ice Harvest," "Analyze This") will direct and co-produce with Judd Apatow ("Knocked Up"). Ramis co-wrote the script with Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg. Owen Wilson will executive produce.

'The Brave One' Trailer Available
The trailer for Neil Jordan's "The Brave One" (Sept. 14), with Jodie Foster and Terrence Howard, is available in Quicktime at Yahoo! Movies.
