The Bulletin: A New Spock for a New 'Star Trek'

Zachary Quinto (Sylar in TV's "Heroes") is in negotiations to star as Mr. Spock in J.J. Abrams' rehabilitation of "Star Trek" (2008), reports E! Online.

Franklin to Direct 'Maintenance Man'
Carl Franklin ("Devil in a Blue Dress," "Out of Time") will direct "The Maintenance Man," an adaptation of Michael Baisden's novel about a gigolo — a Juilliard grad with musical aspirations — in an existential crisis, reports Variety. Baisden wrote the script with Ralph Farquhar. Jesse Beaton and Dwayne Corbitt wil produce with Farquhar for Screen Gems.
