The Bulletin: Watts Joins 'The International'

Naomi Watts will star with Clive Owen in "The International," in which an Interpol agent investigates corruption in the financial sector, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Tom Tykwer ("Run Lola Run," "Heaven") will direct. Eric Singer wrote the script. Charles Roven, Richard Suckle and Lloyd Phillips will produce, and John Woo, Terence Chang and Jeff Lurie will executive produce. Production begins in September.

Robbins, Landau Travel to 'City of Ember'
Tim Robbins, Martin Landau, Marianne Jean-Baptiste ("Secrets & Lies") and Harry Treadaway will star in "City of Ember" (Oct. 10, 2008), an adaptation of Jeanne DuPrau's novel about two adolescents' search for clues to the mysteries of an ancient metropoli under a shroud of darkness, reports Variety. Bill Murray, Toby Jones and Saoirse Ronan will co-star. Caroline Thompson wrote the script. Gil Kenan ("Monster House") will direct, and Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman will produce. John D. Scholfield will executive produce.

'Death Sentence' Trailer Available
The trailer for James Wan's "Death Sentence" (Aug. 31) is available in Quicktime at Yahoo! Movies. Kevin Bacon, Garrett Hedlund and John Goodman star.
