The Bulletin: 'Grindhouse' to be Split on DVD

Sorry, Mr. Movie Donut, but Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino's exploitation anthology "Grindhouse" (B+) will be split in two for DVD, with a special edition of "Death Proof," with extras on two discs, to street Sept. 18 and an equal treatment of "Planet Terror," Oct. 16. As for the outrageous trailers of Edgar Wright's "Don't," Robert Rodriguez's "Machete," Eli Roth's "Thanksgiving" and Rob Zombie's "Werewolf Women of the S.S.," remain calm. $22.99 says all the pieces remain intact, but the assembly, obviously, will not replicate the grand design of the theatrical version.
